    Cardiff Male Choir - Open Rehearsal - songs old and new  -  Wednesday, 26 November 2025  @ 7:00 pm  -  Wednesday, 26 November 2025

    • Come along to a free open rehearsal of Cardiff Male Choir.  

      The Cardiff Male Choir was founded in 1898, it is one of the oldest in Wales and enjoys the patronage of the City's Lord Mayor.  We currently have around 45 choristers (plus an excellent music team) made-up of gents of all ages and from all walks of life.
      Sefydlwyd Côr Meibion Caerdydd ym 1898, mae'n un o'r hynaf yng Nghymru ac mae'n mwynhau nawdd Arglwydd Faer y Ddinas. Ar hyn o bryd mae gennym tua 45 o gantorion (ynghyd â thîm cerddoriaeth rhagorol) sy'n cynnwys dynion o bob oed ac o bob cefndir.

      • Come and join our friendly reminiscence group and share memories of growing up in Whitchurch or come and learn about the history of our village.  Free. 



    Cake Sale and Raffle in Aid of Oliver's Content Creator Trip to USA  -  Saturday, 6 December 2025  @ 10:00 am  -  Saturday, 6 December 2025

    • 10am - 1pm.  An opportunity to support a local young person on a creative journey to USA with Cardiff Youth Service.    Cake sale and Christmas themed raffle and a chance to find out more about the trip and the challenge.

    • A busy morning at the hub with Oliver's fundraising bake sale 10 - 1pm and a free workshop for children - make Christmas decorations and enjoy a Christmas themed treasure hunt 10.30-12.  



    Buffalo Bill in Cardiff a talk by Roger Stennett  -  Wednesday, 10 December 2025  @ 2:00 pm  -  Wednesday, 10 December 2025

    • William Cody - “Buffalo Bill” - came three times to Britain, firstly in 1887 to help celebrateQueen Victoria's Golden Jubilee. His visit was so successful that returned four years later in1891.When Cody returned to Britain in 1891 he stayed for over 12 months and visited manydifferent cities. Amongst them was Cardiff and other Welsh towns. He was clearly fond of theplace as he made a six-day stopover, netting a cool £10,000 in the process. He set up camp in Sophia Gardens, creating an arena 175 yards long and 70 yards wide.  Roger Stennett will tell us all about it!

    • Big Garden Birdwatch at Whitchurch Hub with lots of family friendly activities and refreshments. All free, all welcome.

      Whitchurch Walking Group   -  Monday, 17 November 2025  @ 10:30 am

      • A weekly  walking group meeting at 10.30am- to find out more email awen.cymru@gmail.com or call into the HUB.  This will be suitable for anyone who wants to join a sociable walk and get more active.  The walks start from Whitchurch Hub on Park Road. 



      FAN Friends and Neighbours Group   -  Monday, 17 November 2025  @ 2:00 pm

      • Our FAN Friends and Neighbours group meets weekly in the community room.  If you are feeling lonely or you would like to meet more people locally come along!  If you are practising new English skills FAN is a good place to try them out. Phone Sarah on 07880632553 for more information. 



      Get Drawing Tuesday Group  -  Tuesday, 18 November 2025  @ 2:15 pm

      • Get Drawing is a free weekly drawing group for beginners and experts alike, on Tuesdays at 2.15pm. An hour of informal and uninterrupted creative time.
